Uses: CorningWare cookware is extremely versatile. It can be taken straight from the freezer to the oven, microwave, gas or electric stovetop and then to dishwasher or sink – no matter how hot or cold the dish is. CorningWare cookware us easy to clean and does not stain or retain odours as will metal and plastic cookware.
Stovetop Use: CorningWare cookware retains heat so well; you can use a lower heat setting than normal and save on energy. This also helps prevent sticking or burning of food. For best results, prepare food which are stirred or have liquid as a cooking medium. CorningWare cookware can be used on gas, electric and ceramic stovetops.
Oven and Griller: CorningWare cookware is ideal for all oven types – conventional, convection and toaster ovens. Pyrex glass cover must not be placed under the griller or in a toaster oven
Microwave Use: CorningWare cookware is perfect for the microwave. Use pot holders as dish may become hot during cooking.
Refrigerator and Freezer Use: CorningWare cookware can go from the refrigerator or freezer directly to the stovetop, oven or microwave.
Care: Use only wooden, nylon or plastic utensils. Metal utensils can scratch or leave grey marks on the CORNINGWARE cookware surface. Use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads and non-abrasive cleansers. To loosen cooked on food, soak cookware in warm soapy water. Cool the PYREX cover before soaking.
Storage: Store dishes separately if space permits. DO NOT nest, as direct glass to glass contact can damage the cookware. Stack carefully by inverting the lids and stacking smaller pieces on top. If stacking is not possible due to limited space, nest the cookware by placing a cloth between each piece.
Safety: All glass (e.g. PYREX) and glass-ceramic materials (e.g. CorningWare) are breakable, so please take care in use. DO NOT use CorningWare cookware for deep fat frying. DO NOT use for popping corn, caramelising sugar or making candy. Use pot holders when handling hot CorningWare cookware in the microwave oven. DO NOT heat empty CorningWare cookware in the microwave oven. DO NOT use or repair chipped, cracked, or broken CorningWare or PYREX items. DO NOT Place hot CorningWare cookware on a placemat as retained heat could damage bench surfaces. DOES NOT use the PYREX cover under a griller or in a toaster oven. DO NOT place a hot PYREX cover on a cold or wet surface, or handle with a wet cloth.

WORLD KITCHEN, INC. promises to replace any glass-ceramic (white base) part of your CORNINGWARE cookware that breaks from extreme hot or cold temperatures within ten years from the date of purchase.
Full Two Year Warranty- Glass Covers
In addition, WORLD KITCHEN, INC. promises to replace any glass cover accompanying your CORNINGWARE cookware that breaks from heat within two years from the date of purchase.
For these warranties to apply, the owner must follow the Use and Care instructions provided at the time of purchase.

WARNINGS:
Failure to follow these instructions can cause breakage resulting in injury or property damage.
• All stoneware is breakable. Handle with care
• ALWAYS USE POTHOLDERS WHEN HANDLING HOT COOKWARE.
• DO NOT place HOT cookware on counter. Use protective trivet.
• DO NOT place stoneware base, glass cover, or plastic cover on any range top burner, under a broiler, microwave browning element, or in a toaster oven.
• NEVER place HOT glass cover in sink or on cold or wet surfaces. Handle with dry potholders.
• DO NOT strike utensils against rim to dislodge food.
• DO NOT use stoneware cookware to pop corn, caramelise sugar or make candy.
• DO NOT use abrasive cleansers, scouring pads, or any object that will scratch the cookware or accessories.
• DO NOT use or repair any item that is chipped, cracked, or broken.
• DO NOT use accessories in oven or microwave, under broiler, or on top of stove unless otherwise indicated on item. (Roasting racks safe for conventional/convection ovens only).
• Bottom of product may be rough. To avoid scratching surfaces, place on placemat or tablecloth.
Use: ALL CORNINGWARE™ stoneware cookware can be used in conventional, convection and microwave ovens, in the refrigerator, freezer and in the dishwasher.
Care: Use only wooden, nylon or plastic utensils. Metal utensils can scratch or leave grey marks. Can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher. Load carefully to avoid stoneware-to-stoneware contact and bumping against other items during cycle. DO NOT allow stoneware cookware to soak/stand in water for an extended period of time. Applied heat after soaking may cause glaze crazing. If scouring is necessary, use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads with nonabrasive cleaners.

USE: Microwave, convection or preheated conventional oven, and refrigerator or freezer.
CARE: Allow cover to cool, before placing in sink or water.

PLASTIC COVERS
USE: Microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer. Wash cover before first use.
To prevent permanent stains and blisters, avoid reheating foods in oil, fat, sugar or tomatoes. Remove cover with care.
Condensation may develop on underside of cover. DO NOT overfill dish. For plastic covers with vent tabs, install cover with vent open. To minimise leaking, dripping and ensure proper seating or sealing of cover to dish, exert downward pressure when applying cover. Once

CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware is made from lightweight, yet durable VITRELLE® glass. Glass is breakable, and must be handled with care.
There are three primary risks associated with using glass bakeware for cooking:
- Risk of breakage due to impact if the dish is dropped or knocked against a hard object.
- Risk of breakage due to sudden temperature change applied to the glass.
- Risk of burning when handling hot bakeware.
Any breakage or shattering of your bakeware may result in personal injury or property damage. Discontinue using any bakeware that has been subjected to any conduct that is contrary to the express instructions and warnings below.
WARNINGS
Failure to follow the warnings below may cause you or someone in your kitchen to be seriously burned or may cause your bakeware to break or shatter immediately or later.
Avoid sudden temperature changes to your glass bakeware. To avoid the risk of breakage due to sudden temperature change to your CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware,
DO NOT: add liquid to hot bakeware; place hot bakeware on a wet or cool surface; or handle hot bakeware with a wet towel, wet potholder or other wet cloth.
DO NOT place hot bakeware directly on a countertop or any metal surface, or in the sink. Allow hot bakeware to cool on a CORNINGWARE SimplyLite Bamboo Server, a cooling rack, potholder or dry cloth. Be sure to allow hot bakeware to cool as provided above before washing, refrigerating or freezing. Oven must be preheated before inserting bakeware.
DO NOT insert bakeware into oven for cooking or reheating until the oven has been preheated to the desired temperature.
DO NOT use on or under a flame or other direct heat source.
DO NOT use on stovetop, under a broiler, on a grill or in a toaster oven. Add liquid to the bottom of the bakeware when cooking certain foods. When preparing foods that may release liquid, add a small amount of liquid sufficient to cover the bottom of the bakeware prior to cooking. Avoid handling hot bakeware without appropriate protection for your hands, such as potholders or thick towel. Avoid microwave misuse.
DO NOT:
(1) Use bakeware to microwave popcorn or convenience foods wrapped in heat-concentrating material (such as special browning paper);
(2) Heat empty or nearly empty bakeware in the microwave;
(3) Overheat oil or butter in microwave (use minimum cooking time; check on oil or butter before applying additional minimal amount of microwave cooking time).
Be careful when handling broken glass.</strong> Broken glass pieces may be extremely sharp and difficult to locate; wear gloves and shoes when cleaning up broken glass. Avoid using or repairing damaged bakeware. DO NOT use or repair any bakeware that is chipped, cracked or severely scratched. Avoid impact breakage. DO NOT drop or hit bakeware against a hard object. DO NOT strike utensils against rim to dislodge food.
HOW TO USE AND CARE FOR YOUR SIMPLYLITE BAKEWARE
Before first use, wash your new CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware in order to remove a clear plastic coating.
CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware can be used for warming, baking and reheating food in microwave ovens, and in preheated conventional or convection ovens.
CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware is dishwasher safe, and may also be washed by hand. When using dishwasher, load dishes in a manner to avoid bumping against other items during dishwashing cycle. When cleaning your CORNINGWARE SimplyLite bakeware, use non-abrasive cleansers. If scouring is necessary, use only plastic or nylon cleaning pads, again with non-abrasive cleansers.
This product is intended for normal household use only; it is not intended for camping, industrial or commercial use.
Limited Three Year Warranty- CORNINGWARE SimplyLite Bakeware
World Kitchen LLC promises to replace any CORNINGWARE SimplyLite; VITRELLE glass bakeware dish that breaks, chips or becomes permanently stained within three years from the date of purchase.
The foregoing warranty applies only to products damaged during normal household use. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, negligence, attempted repair or breakage from accidental impact. For this warranty to apply, the owner must follow the applicable safety and usage instructions set forth above. The warranty does not apply to items that are: used while camping; used commercially or institutionally; or damaged while moving or in related storage. If the exact item is not available, it will be replaced with a comparable item. Incidental and consequential damages are expressly excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. If making a warranty claim, KEEP THE PRODUCT - you may be asked to return it. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
