We were given a CorningWare casserole dish for a wedding present 42 years ago...It has a small blue flower on the sides .. And I am still using it and it is still as good as the day we were given it .. I can very highly recommend anyone to buy CorningWare.. from my experience.. – CorningWare Cornflower Blue Casserole

Hi, I'm emailing to tell you about a piece of CorningWare that I purchased quite a few years ago, style of white with blue flowers, it is a baking dish with a rack. What I'm contacting you for is tell you that it survived our bushfires in February 2009. It is a little bit black, but has no cracks at all in the dish. I may never be able to use it again for cooking, you see we lost everthing that we owned in the fires and it will probably just be kept as a reminder of what my husband and I went through. I think Corningware is incredible. I have my original cornflower blue set which I bought in 1965. It still looks great. I use all dishes to cook and serve almost on a daily basis. Not much need for anything else really. – CorningWare
